On June 7, 2019, color-splashed riders took to their bicycles and cruised through the neighborhood for the Mountainside Color Ride & Movie night. All proceeds from the event will directly benefit Mountainside Schools through the Mountainside Education Foundation. Riders then watched the movie Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse on the softball fields at Deerfield School. Mountainside PBA, Fire Co., EMS, and Municipal Alliance partnered with MEF to provide the free outdoor movie, food and treats.
